 This is Austin Dillon’s first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship. His previous best championship finish was fifth, in his Sunoco Rookie of the Year-winning season.
 At 21 years, six months and 22 days, Dillon becomes the youngest champion in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history.
 Dillon is the first driver to follow up his Sunoco Rookie of the Year season with a championship the following season. He is the third ROY overall to win the championship (Greg Biffle, Travis Kvapil).
 Dillon finished the 2011 season with two wins, 10 top fives and 16 top 10s.
